Carlos Alcaraz defeated Frances Tiafoe in the first round of the finals of the US Open.

I am a fan of Carlos Alcaraz. He is a talented tennis player who can play with anybody. But I just think he really has a tendency to play selfishly and to be too greedy. He is not a guy who has the mentality of, ‘I need to get that trophy.’ That is a really great thing, but he has a tendency of playing too selfishly.

By the way, I have been on tour a lot longer. I have played with a lot of guys on tour, and the great thing about Carlos Alcaraz is that he doesn’t ever feel like he has to prove himself. He doesn’t feel like he has to prove that he is the best, but he always feels like he has to prove himself. That is the biggest problem I have ever had with him. I think he is a guy who has had a lot of success, but I think he has had more success than other guys but just doesn’t seem to know how to deal with it yet. I don’t know what he is thinking. I don’t know what he is going through. But he’s a good guy. I just think he is a little selfish.
