These maps show Toronto’s current COVID-19 hot spots are not where you think they are, or how many there are. As I’ve written before, Toronto has the fifth highest numbers of COVID-19 cases and deaths compared with the national average. Here’s a closer look at where the majority of cases have been reported.
We are also seeing more cases at long-term care and long-term care facilities, in nursing homes and hospitals, in long term care facilities and assisted living, and in long term care facilities. There is still no clear solution to the current pandemic and it is imperative that front-line healthcare workers remain on the frontline to help people in need.
